Next time I'm asked what my top career achievement is, I can come back with an ever so slightly ridiculous response
“...top 5 on my website”

Top 5 Achievements

5. At university I worked hard and achieved the highest business degree in my year. Through applying myself and not being afraid to get creative, this achievement and approach to work has opened up many new career opportunities in my life and I have since not looked back.

4. Developing my own personal confidence in my ability to tackle business problems and propose solutions that deliver results. Using a methodical approach to marketing, I am confident in delivering end to end campaigns from conception to execution, including anything from social media planning, through to new product launches.

3. From gaining my first understanding of SEO and PPC from a course ran by Business Link many moons ago, I wrote and implemented a full SEO plan for an employer which resulted in dramatically improved organic rankings and revenue. It made me realise there was something in this game.

2. From introducing PPC as a serious channel to market for an employer, I generated over £1,000,000 worth of new revenue in a single calendar year using Google Adwords alone. There was a lot of high-fiving over the course of that year.

1. Creating my first website, www.emilyrosmakeupartist.co.uk, and subsequently generating a healthy income for the business owner. You never truly know how good your skills are until you’ve challenged yourself by going it alone.
